A Tuscan Villa Dream Wedding
How they met
"We actually met in high school, we were friends during school. We went to different colleges and lost touch for the next decade. Then 15 years later I moved back home during Covid, we reconnected and decided to meet for drinks and catch up. "
A moment to relive
"The dinner. We had a 4 course dinner prepared by a Michelin Star chef, but to be able to sit on the terrace, overlooking the towns below our Villa while we all talked, laughed and cried, it was the most magical dinner I've ever had in my life. I held my husband's hand most of the evening and we kept looking at each other like, we don't ever want this night to end. "
Finding THE dress
"I wanted something that felt classic and timeless but I also want to make a bit of a statement. It was tough finding something that didn't feel too trendy, but still gave me that "wow factor" I was looking for. "
A villa venue
"We got married at Colletto Villas in Tuscany. We decided to elope with just our family so we wanted to find a Villa that was big enough to host a wedding but somewhere that we could all stay for a few days. It was wonderful to wake up where we were also getting married. That morning we had breakfast on the terrace, went swimming in the pool then got married in the most beautiful gardens. "
THAT moment.
"I’d relive the moment of seeing Ken for the first time (and he seeing me for the first time) when I walked down the aisle to meet him at the alter. It’s such an emotional moment in general, but for us, given everything we’ve been through earlier this year with Ken’s accident and not knowing whether the wedding was even going to happen and whether he would survive the accident, it felt like such a 'We did it, we made it' moment."
