Classy and Timeless in Toronto

Candace and Cameron got married at The Symes in Toronto. They kept their wedding classy and timeless with a modern vibe and a black and white theme.

How they met

"We were introduced by friends of ours although we had definitely been at a few of the same parties before our official first date. Cam and I have a ton of mutual friends so it was surprising that we had not yet met. I guess that’s fate for you!"

The color scheme

"We are very simple people! We stuck with a black and white theme. We wanted the vibe to be modern, classy and timeless."

Finding THE dress

"I was very specific on what I wanted but found it difficult to make the final decision. The Piichi gown’s simplicity, buttons and elegance ultimately is what won my heart."

The venue

"We got married at an incredible venue in Toronto, called the Symes. It offered us a blank canvas to do whatever we wished. The industrial feel, opportunity to host our cocktail hour outside + the fact that it could accommodate our large guest list made it a slam dunk."

"One unique moment that I’ll always cherish is the first look that I did with my girlfriends. I have a large group of friends which made it hard to select individuals. I ended up doing a First Look with all of my closest friends before the ceremony. The moment was so much fun. The pictures do a fantastic job at capturing the joy and love from my best friends. "
