How They Met

"Sonny and I met right before his freshman year of college at Samford in 2018. We both played collegiate sports and had mutual friends through our teams. One of our friends brought him to play beach volleyball with us! We became friends immediately and fell for each other & started dating soon after!"

Finding Her Dream Gown

"The process of finding my dream dress ended up being much less daunting than I expected! My stunning Antonio Gual dress was the second dress I ever tried on. My amazing bridal consultant Kristen suggested I add a custom wrap for my winter ceremony, and I fell in love immediately! Every dress I tried on after it just didn’t make me feel like a bride the way my dress did! Every wedding dress out there is gorgeous honestly but what made my decision easy was that I felt beautiful in my dress and couldn’t wait to marry Sonny in it!"

One Special Moment

"If I could play one part of our wedding day on repeat it would be Sonny and I dancing with our guests to the “Italian wedding song” Che la Luna (which happens to also be Sonny’s walk-up song for baseball) It’s a family tradition in Sonny’s family to play at weddings, and a family friend actually sang it for us! I’ll never forget Sonny and I in the middle of huge circles of all of our guests dancing and smiling. It was such a special memory we will cherish forever, and I know our guests absolutely loved it!"

A Speech To Remember

"My sister and best friend was my matron of honor and a quote that means a lot to me from her speech is “You will find refuge in each other's presence.” This is applicable in the everyday and it is a good reminder of the gift that marriage is- to have the one you love to lean on and to be their support and safe place."
