From Sneaking Out to Saying “I Do”

How they met

"We met on Tinder during COVID, when we were both living with our parents,

who happened to live just down the street from each other.

We would sneak out to see each other, and those little adventures quickly turned into something

so much bigger. We haven’t gone a single day without each other since.

What started as meeting on Tinder during such an unusual time

in the world turned into the greatest love story we could have asked for."

Their Venue

"We got married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic,

at the beautiful Kukua Beach Club.

They were absolutely amazing to work with and made the

entire planning process feel completely stress-free,

even though we were planning a destination wedding.

From the beautiful setting to the incredible team, it

was  everything we could have hoped for."

The colors

"Our color scheme was a moody, tropical palette made up of rich greens, deep oranges,

reds, and yellows, with pops of gold and black accents.

We wanted the colors to feel fun and tropical, inspired by the beautiful destination we were in,

while still maintaining an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

We loved the idea of bringing the vibrant energy of the Dominican Republic into our

wedding design but giving it a more moody, sophisticated feel."

Finding her gown

"I visited two or three other bridal shops before finding my dress at The Bride Room in Nashville, Tennessee. I was very particular about the silhouette I wanted. I knew I was looking for a mermaid or trumpet-style gown, but I also wanted a distinct separation between the bodice and the skirt.

I had always loved lace, but whenever I tried on lace dresses before, something just wasn’t clicking. They didn’t feel like me, so I had actually started looking in a completely different direction and stopped trying on lace dresses altogether.

When I came across my Antonio Gual gown, I had seen a picture of it on The Bride Room’s Instagram. As soon as I walked into the shop, I asked if I could try it on.

Luckily, they were able to pull it for me, and it ended up

being the very first dress I tried on that day.

I immediately fell in love. I tried on a few other dresses

afterward just to compare, but deep down, I already

 knew that was the one."

The Dress

"I loved the scalloped detailing that created such a beautiful definition between the bodice and the skirt.

The lace was stunning, and I especially loved the

 eyelash lace along the neckline.

Every detail felt so thoughtfully designed, and the dress

had the perfect balance of romance and elegance.

One of my favorite parts of working with Antonio Gual was

the ability to customize my gown.

I ended up altering the neckline, which made the dress feel even more personal and like an extension of my own style.

The process of finding my dress was such a special experience, but I think what made it so memorable was that I found

something I had never expected to fall in love with.

I went into the shop thinking I had moved on from lace, and

I walked out knowing I had found my dream dress."

A moment to relive

"Honestly, one of the moments we would relive is sitting down at our reception to eat dinner.

As simple as it sounds, it was such a special moment. Not only was the food amazing and the venue beautiful,

but we loved being able to look around and see all of our closest friends and family in one place,

 chatting, laughing, and supporting us.

There was something so meaningful about having all of the people we love together, celebrating our marriage.

It was a moment we would relive a hundred times over."

Congratulations to the happy couple!
